Producer working at RocketWerkz (June 2020-present)

  • Launch & Lifecycle: Integrated into the Icarus team 18 months pre-launch and served as a core driver through its successful December 2021 release and beyond.
  • Release Consistency: Assisted in the flawless execution of 230+ consecutive weekly updates and helped maintain a 100% on-time delivery record since the game’s launch.
  • Project Leadership: Managed full sprint cycles and Jira backlogs while working directly with the Project Lead to oversee staff and maintain project momentum.
  • Performance Management: Gained experience in HR functions by assisting in the management and coaching of underperforming staff members.
  • Strategic Input: Selected as one of only three non-leadership employees invited to a high-level company retreat to define long-term business goals and development strategies. 
  • Marketing: Integral member of weekly marketing meetings, providing key input on global pricing models, discount strategies, and seasonal sale participation. These meetings focused on a project first approach with input directly from project team members.

  • Community Outreach: Directed and hosted weekly developer livestreams every Friday, serving as a primary point of contact for the community and player base.
  • Event Coordination: Acted as a key organizer for RocketWerkz’s presence at the 2025 New Zealand Game Developers Conference (NZGDC).
  • DEI Initiative: Member of the Women in Games group that led a successful reform of studio hiring practices to foster a more inclusive and diverse workforce.
  • Educational Liaison: Hosted dozens of studio visits for outreach programs like Shadow Tech and school groups to encourage careers in game dev.
  • Asset Creation: Directly assisted the marketing department in producing creative assets for conferences and media kits.

Secretary and Board Member for the New Zealand Game Developers Association (2024-present)

  • Elected to the national board to advocate for the NZ gaming industry. 
  • NZGDC Volunteer Coordinator: Spearheaded the volunteer program for the NZGDC2024 and 2025 – recruited, trained, and managed the volunteer workforce.
  • Advocacy: Acts as a primary advocate for students and women entering the industry, providing guidance and support to lower barriers for underrepresented groups.
  • Elected Secretary for three years: Captures meeting minutes and works closely with the Executive Director and Chairperson to gather documents before Monthly Board Meetings.
